WHA offers a variety of member benefits, including:
- Program Events that address current issues in healthcare, career development, and personal growth. Registration fees are discounted for members.
- Members Only Events for smaller group personal and professional development forums are typically held at a member’s home on a Saturday morning, and informal social events at venues of interest throughout the year.
- Networking Opportunities expand social and business affiliations with dynamic healthcare executives.
- Membership Directory provides easy access to WHA membership. The member listings by function and organization facilitate identification of members who can serve as valuable resources.
- Executive Forum, WHA’s quarterly newsletter, brings members up-to-date on WHA news, special programs, and workshops, individual member activities and current healthcare issues.
- Job Opportunities are listed in the exclusive WHA Job Line, which is distributed through email.
- Committee Participation provides opportunities for members to increase their leadership skills, contribute to the organization in a variety of ways, and reap the rewards of being directly involved with other committee members and the Board.

Membership Levels:
Active Member -
Qualifications:
- Holds a management, senior staff or consulting position in a healthcare organization or entity that provides services to healthcare organizations
- Has education and experience in health administration or a related field;or
- Is a faculty member of an accredited academic program in a discipline related to the purpose of the corporation.
Student Member - $25 per year
Qualifications:
Enrolled as a masters degree or doctoral candidate in an accredited graduate program, or a residency or fellowship program in health administration or a related field, or as a candidate for a baccalaureate degree in health administration. Please provide a copy of your student ID with your application.
Honorary Member
Qualifications:
Past Presidents of WHA are honorary life members. The Board of Directors may also confer Honorary Life Membership in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the corporation or to the healthcare field.
